Refund policy

RESERVATION/ BOOKING

  1. Available slots are shown on our product page. You may choose your available slot and purchase it via our check out cart.
  2. Pick-up time and delivery of cakes are ONLY from 2:00pm-5:00pm on the day of the reservation. Pick-up of cake before 2:00pm is NOT ALLOWED. If you have time constraints, we recommend that you book and reserve a slot on an earlier date.
  3. Aegyo Cakes reserves the right to refuse service to clients who have unruly, threatening, and violent behavior.
  4. Joy-reserving or cancelling an order is strictly not allowed. Joy-reserving may limit you from placing an order in the future.
  5. Since our cakes are custom-made, we do not allow cancellations. For this, we follow a pay-as-you-order scheme. Full payment of the reservation fee for the cake is required to secure the slot and Aegyo Cake. To order, please choose your preferred date on our product page and settle payment upon check-out.  Additional charges may incur depending on design, as well as shipping option.
    • You will receive an email to confirm your order. Please read the email. It will have specific instructions for your order
    • The Aegyo Cakes team member will review your submitted design and finalize your order.
    • Additional payments will be computed based on the final design, as well as your shipping option.
    • If you wish to know the price range of your design, you may first reach out via IG and ask for a quote or an estimate before booking a slot. 

REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS and PAYMENT

  1. No cancellation, no refund policy is also applicable to ALL non-cake products of Aegyo Cakes.
  2. We also follow a no cancellation, no refund policy, since all dates are booked in advance. 
  3. Exchanging / replacing products or slots is also not allowed. The order that will be fulfilled will be the product / slot that you purchased. 
  4. Payment Options include GCASH and BDO upon check out of order via Paymongo.
  5.  Non-payment of orders may limit you from placing an order in the future.
  6. Non-payment of additional fees for customized cakes will be considered as plain white cakes. Clients who do not pay additional fees incurred during the design process will receive a classic white aegyo cake.
  7. Changing dates / schedule is not allowed, because slots are purchased in advance.
  8. Refunds will only be allowed upon full investigation and approval of Aegyo Cakes.
  9. Rebooking/ Rescheduling will only be allowed upon full investigation and approval of Aegyo Cakes.
    1. In the event client is approved for rebooking/ rescheduling, client will be charged Php 500 per cake. Non-Payment of the fee will not process your rebooking request and original pick up date will push thru.
    2. Client cannot pick up cake unless rebooking fee is paid. Please understand that we follow a strict schedule to maintain our quality. This fee is charged so we can adjust our schedule due to the rebooking.
    3. In case request is approved, New Date of Pick Up is subject to Aegyo Cakes availability and schedule. Your request date will be declined if it affects production and quality of the cakes.
    4. Client should inform Aegyo Cakes of the new Pick up date during the request. You can only rebook once so make sure that the date is final.
    5. Not all requests will be approved. Clients who are unruly, disrespectful and rude to our employees and staff will not be accommodated.
    6. Please respect our team and our terms as we always want to serve you better.


DESIGN POLICY

 

For 6-Inch Design Your Own (Custom) Cake Design

  1. Once slot is secured by settling reservation fee, you will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your design.
    • You will need to submit a Design Form, where you can send your pegs, requests, and instructions.
    • Aegyo Cakes will review the Design Form, and reach out to you for any clarifications, should there be any.
    • The design team will also be sending you the summary of your design details for your confirmation.
    • The design team will give you the final quote based on the complexity of the design you submitted via the form. 
      • Please note that the final quote is always based on the complexity of your design. If you wish to have an estimate of the final cost, you may reach out first via IG or Messenger for an estimate before submitting the design form or even before purchasing a slot.
    • Aegyo Cakes' Design Team will review your form at least a week before your reservation date. We receive and review a lot of designs, and pay attention to a lot of details, so please expect a wait if you have purchased a slot months early. Rest assured that the team will reach out with ample enough time before your pick up date.
    • If we cannot contact you during the Design Review (after 3 attempts), you will be receiving a Plain White Cake. 
    • For 6-inch Design Your Own Aegyo Cakes, non-submission of the form within 48 hours of receipt of email, or after three attempts to contact you and/or remind you to submit, means you agree to receive a plain white cake.
    • For lunchbox cakes, non-submission of the form within 48 hours of receipt of confirmation email and order form means you agree to receive a plain white cake.
  2. Additional payments incurred during the design interview process must be settled within 24 hours after an updated billing has been sent.
  3. Additional fees may incur depending on the complexity of the design. The base price of Php 1,300.00 includes minimalist line drawings, or minimalist front-facing colored drawing of a character's face. Other drawings or designs including, but not limited to 3D sculptures, cake top paintings, dollops, etc, will incur additional fees.
  4. All designs are subject to final approval and confirmation of Aegyo Cakes’ head designer / decorator. 
  5. All 6" Design Your Own Cakes are round cakes only. We do not offer custom shaped cakes.
  6. Design medium is limited to Swiss Buttercream Meringue and Cream Cheese frosting. (Aegyo Cakes does not use airbrush, fondant, 3D non-buttercream toppers, ribbons, fruits, etc.) We also do not do naked cakes.
  7. All cakes are round-shaped. Aegyo Cakes does not do heart-shaped or any custom-sized shaped as part of its regular designs. Custom shaped cakes are limited to special collections only.
  8. Aegyo Cakes do not have drafts or sketches of cake designs. We base the design on the submitted pegs and design requests.
  9. Changes in design are not allowed once confirmed and booked, in order to avoid mistakes or errors when designing the cake.
  10. DOUBLE CHECK THE DESIGN SUMMARY. Once your cake design is confirmed, changes will not be allowed.
  11. All Aegyo Cake designs are uniquely made and may not copy the exact cake peg (colors, drawings, etc.). There might be slight differences and discolorations, since our medium is buttercream. But Aegyo Cakes will always strive to give its clients the best outcome. Like paintings, our bakers will interpret the brief and execute designs the aegyo way if certain certain details are not specified by the client. 
  12. "Baker's Discretion" may result to a minimalist approach on the cake design or brief.

 

 

For 4-Inch Lunchbox Design Your Own (Custom) Cake Design

  1. Once slot is secured by settling reservation fee, you will receive an email with your Lunchbox Order Form Instructions.
    • You will see a google form which will serve as your design guide in designing your lunchbox cake
    • Non-submission of the form within 48 hours of receipt of confirmation email and order form means you agree to receive a plain white cake.
    • If we cannot contact you or if you failed to submit the design form within the time frame specified (after 3 attempts), you will be receiving a Plain White Cake. 
    • If unsure of your design, please consult an Aegyo Cakes team member thru IG or FB before submitting the form. You will not be able to change your design once form is submitted.
    • We will contact you thru IG and FB in case we have questions or clarifications on your cake design. We will also contact you if your cake design is not doable on a lunchbox cake.
  2. Additional payments incurred during the design interview process must be settled within 24 hours after an updated billing has been sent.
  3. Additional fees may incur depending on the complexity of the design. The base price of Php 500.00 includes minimalist line drawings. Other drawings or designs including, but not limited to cake top paintings, floral pipings, etc, will incur additional fees.
  4. All designs are subject to final approval and confirmation of Aegyo Cakes’ baker.
  5. All 4-Inch Lunchbox Design Your Own Cakes are round cakes only.
  6. Only the the cake top of the lunchbox cake is customizable.
  7. Base color of the cake is limited only to the choices shown in the design guide.
  8. Design medium is limited to Swiss Buttercream Meringue and Cream Cheese frosting. (Aegyo Cakes does not use airbrush, fondant, 3D non-buttercream toppers, etc.)
  9. Aegyo Cakes do not have drafts of cake designs.
  10. Changes in design are not allowed once confirmed and booked, in order to avoid mistakes or errors when designing the cake.
  11. All Aegyo Cake designs are uniquely made and may not copy the exact cake peg (colors, drawings, etc.). But Aegyo Cakes will always strive to give its clients the best outcome. Like paintings, our bakers will interpret the brief and execute designs the aegyo way if certain certain details are not specified by the client. 
  12. "Baker's Discretion" may result to a minimalist approach on the cake design or brief.

 

 

For 6-Inch and 4-inch Signature Cake Design

  1. Signature Aegyo Cake is the option you choose if you want a pre-designed Aegyo Cake.
    • CHOOSE DESIGN BEFORE CHECKING OUT. Make sure that the page loads completely so that you may input all your choices. In case the options do not appear, please request assistance from an Aegyo Cakes team member via our contact channels.
    • Signature Cake Design, Color, Font and Font Color CANNOT be customized.
    • You can choose your own dedication on the cake up to 30 characters only.
    • NO CHANGING OF CAKE DESIGN, CAKE DETAILS, RESERVATION DATE, SHIPPING DETAILS after checkout. Please make sure your cake has the correct details before checking out and paying. We will not be accepting changes once paid.
  2. Once slot is secured, you will receive an email Order Confirmation.
    • Pick up/ Booking Details are also in your order confirmation email so make sure to read through it.
    • We will contact you thru IG and FB in case we have questions or clarifications on your cake or other order details.

For Limited Edition Cake Design

  1. Once slot is secured by settling reservation fee, you will receive an email with your Pick up/ Booking Instructions .
  2. All Limited Edition Cake Designs are offered on a limited time period unless stated otherwise.
